Peter Morton is a Partner at Pembroke Private Wealth Management and is responsible for managing the private client team in the Montreal office.
Peter began his investment career in 1978 with Richardson Securities (Montreal) specializing in commodity futures. Over the next three years, he was responsible for the Province of Quebec. In 1981, along with two partners, Peter founded his own commodity futures boutique called Alco Canada. In 1989, Alco Canada was absorbed by Midland Walwyn.
Since joining Pembroke Management in October 1990, Peter has developed and enjoyed client relationships across Canada with a combination of foundations, family offices and high net worth investors. Peter is part of the Asset Allocation Committee for the Pembroke Partners Fund.
